Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Scott Belsky, Adobe’s chief strategy officer and executive VP of design and emerging products, is leaving the company to join A24 full-time as a partner leading tech and innovation projects at the studio.
Belsky is an entrepreneur, author and creator who in 2006 founded Behance, an online platform that is used by more than 50 million professionals in the creative industry to showcase and discover creative work.
Adobe acquired Behance in 2012 for $150 million. Belsky rejoined Adobe in December 2017, after a stint as a venture investor at Benchmark in San Francisco.
Belsky announced his move to join A24, where he’ll be based in New York City, in a post Thursday on X. He will remain an adviser to Adobe. “after 7 years since returning to Adobe (post the acquisition of @Behance), i’ll be shifting gears over the coming months + jumping into the fast-evolving world of filmmaking and storytelling (a longtime passion),” Belsky wrote. “excited to join @A24, an independent studio i have long admired – as a partner and will be kicking off a few special projects within.
