No doubt, the Chiefs have one of the best rosters in the NFL, and as a result, the team often plays in national or primetime slots on Sundays, Mondays, or Thursdays.
This means a lot of eyes are watching each play. Over the years, some fans seem to think that the “Chiefs get all the calls,” meaning, referees favor the team by either purposely missing key in-game penalties they commit against opposing teams, or, giving preferential treatment to the Chiefs over other teams.
One particular incident happened in the Chiefs’ 2025 playoff game against the Houston Texans. Patrick Mahomes received a roughing the passer call after being questionably tackled during their game.
