Adele has said the public backlash to her having to postpone her Las Vegas residency was 'brutal' and left her a 'shell of a person'.
The London-born star was scheduled to perform a series of concerts at Sin City's Caesars Palace, but they were cancelled just 24 hours before the opening show, the Mirror reports.
At the time, a tearful Adele shared a video message to social media, explaining that delivery delays and the Covid-19 pandemic meant the show would not be ready to welcome audiences.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, the 34-year-old was left 'devastated' by the cancellation and 'definitely felt everyone’s disappointment' following the announcement.
