Adele has become the latest public figure to slam police violence in America against black people following the death of George Floyd.
Over recent days protestors have taken to streets across the globe including New York City, London and Los Angeles to voice their grievances after a white Minneapolis cop held his knee on Mr Floyd's neck for several minutes.
The Someone Like You songstress took to her Instagram page, breaking her social media silence and urged protesters to be "focused" and not be "disheartened, hijacked or manipulated right now".
