Adam Lallana has hailed Jordan Henderson as his "best mate" as he opened up on leaving Liverpool for Brighton. Lallana has signed a three-year deal with Brighton after he ended his six-year spell at Liverpool by helping the Reds end their long wait for the Premier League title.
Henderson was voted the Football Writers' Association player of the year after the skipper inspired his side to a 19th top-flight crown.
