Aaron Taylor-Johnson, one of the front runners to become the next James Bond, has hinted at his future after revealing he is looking for original material to work on.In an interview with The Guardian, the Nosferatu star answered readers’ questions, including one about characters from his youth that he’d like to play. “That’s a good question” he replied. “I liked the Ninja Turtles.
I used to love watching all that stuff. There was another one called Biker Mice from Mars that was brilliant. A movie of that could be a cool thing.
But you know, I’m trying to find more original material, which is just as hard to come by”.The answer would seem to counter rumours that he is the favourite to take over the role of James Bond from Daniel Craig, who bowed out with 2021’s No Time To Die.
Last year, it was reported that he had been offered the role, although the actor avoided the question when asked about it on the red carpet for action-comedy The Fall Guy.Since breaking through in 2010 blockbuster Kick-Ass, Taylor-Johnson has appeared in a number of action heavy roles.
