Former Rangers hero Craig Moore admits he attempted to convince his former club to sign Aaron Mooy before he penned a deal with Celtic.
The Australian international has teamed up with his former Socceroos boss Ange Postecoglou at Parkhead, signing a two-year deal and was announced as part of a double swoop by the Scottish Premiership champions along with defender Moritz Jens.
The 31-year-old had a home in Glasgow with his Scottish wife Nicola and decided on the move to Celtic after leaving Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG.
However, Moore claims things could have been very different for Mooy if the Rangers power-brokers had listened to his advice over a move for the free agent.
