Aaron Hickey can become the new Philipp Lahm if he joins Bayern Munich. That's according to his old Hearts boss Daniel Stendel, who has full belief the 18-year-old can go as far as he wants in his career.

German boss Stendel, who left Hearts after their relegation last season, worked with Hickey during his time in the capital and has no doubts that the youngster is destined for the top.

And he can see similarities between Hickey and Bayern legend Lahm - who is regarded as one of the greatest full backs of all time after winning the World Cup, Champions League, eight Bundesligas and winning 113 caps for his country.
