Prosecutors have reacted after three men were found guilty of murdering a man at a set of traffic lights. Sadiq Al-Lami was stabbed 11 times after his car was 'chased' down Kingsway in east Didsbury by a Mercedes containing five men.
A fight ensued after Mr Al-Lami and three of the men in the Mercedes got out. Sultan Bakr, 22, Sikander Babar, 24, his brother, Abdul Babar, 19, were all involved in the horrific attack on Mr Al-Lami, who was discovered face down after being repeatedly knifed.
The killers, who prosecutors said had earlier spent the evening smoking cannabis and inhaling nitrous oxide, fled the scene at speed.
But they were traced and the trio were eventually arrested hundreds of miles away.
