People who live in a Lancashire neighbourhood branded a 'no-go zone' have defended their community following calls to tackle antisocial behaviour.
Last week, councillors, the police and residents met to discuss gangs of youths causing trouble in the Queensgate area of Burnley.
Residents’ representative Jennifer Braddock has made three visits to Burnley’s Full Council meeting to complain about anti-social behaviour in the area.
At last month’s meeting she warned that parts of the ward had become ‘no-go’ areas for ordinary residents with youths showing “a total disrespect” for local people, reports LancsLive.
