Lucy Letby once lived a comfortable life in a three-bed property near Chester. The 33-year-old neonatal nurse filled her time with salsa classes, holidays, and drinks with colleagues.

But the rest of her life will be in stark contrast as she lives out her years in a maximum security prison. Last month, Letby was handed a whole life order after she was found guilty of murdering seven babies and attempting to murder six more.

She will reportedly be sent to HMP Low Newton, a maximum security prison near Durham that houses fellow serial killer Joanna Dennehy, where the rest of her life will be lived out under a grim regime, reports The Mirror. It's expected that it will be some time before Letby will be integrated with her fellow inmates and that she'll initially be on suicide watch for a number of months.
