Planets will line up for a ‘planetary parade’ this month, with four being visible to the naked eye in the Northern Hemisphere.
Stargazers with a telescope will be able to spot six planets – Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Venus, Neptune and Saturn – in the spectacular planetary performance.
NASA says Venus and Saturn will be visible in the southwest just after sunset, with Jupiter overhead and Mars in the east completing the planetary display.
Planetary alignment is an astronomical term used to describe when planets gather closely on one side of the Sun at the same time.
