A woman who suffered shocking injuries after a horrific dog attack that left her terrified to set foot outside her house and bleeding for 24 hours straight has spoken of her ordeal.
The 28-year-old caregiver from Clayton saidshe was left needing hospital treatment after she was attacked by a black staffy on Medlock Vale in October last year.
She told the Manchester Evening News how the dog 'ripped chunks of fat' out of her body and bit her hand, resulting in the tip of her thumb having to be removed and leaving her housebound for days afterwards.
She is now warning others of her experience after police have failed to identify the dog or owner, saying she 'doesn't want anyone else to go through what I have gone through'.
