A woman in her 60s has died following a crash in Bolton which left two other people seriously injured, police have confirmed.
Darwen Road in Bromley Cross was closed for several hours following the horror smash on Thursday morning. Emergency services, including police officers, paramedics and firefighters, were called to the scene at around 11.50am.
Two air ambulances also landed nearby. GMP have now confirmed the deceased was a woman in her 60s. Two other people were left seriously injured and were rushed to hospital from the scene.
