Ross County the points. The Northern Ireland cap bashed in a late winner from close range to shake off Hamilton and continue the superb start to the season for the Staggies.
County stunned Motherwell on the opening day and they quality coming off the bench helped them grab control of the game after the break – and leave Accies still waiting to get off the mark.
There was nothing between the sides in the opening period but Ross County had more of the ball and carved Accies open early on when Lee Erwin saw the whites of keeper Ryan Fulton’s eyes after a slick move involving Ross Stewart and Harry Paton.The big attacker looked set to bury at the back post but Fulton brilliantly blocked at point blank range.Accies were a threat as well though.
