Three people were found dead with another missing in a reservoir in 24 hours of unthinkable tragedy across Greater Manchester.
On Sunday (October 20), the body of a man was pulled from the River Irwell as another man went missing after falling into the Dovestone Reservoir near Oldham.
That same evening, another man was pronounced dead after collapsing on the tram lines before being struck, with a fourth person later tragically killed after being hit by a train between Manchester and Warrington on Monday morning. Tragically, a man's body was later found. Officers and plain clothed detectives remained at the scene throughout the afternoon.
