24 hours of bloody horror on Greater Manchester's streets with double murder probe and three stabbings

There has been 24 hours of horror on Greater Manchester's streets, as police launched a double murder inquiry and responded to three stabbings.

Officers were called to Tottington in Bury just before midnight yesterday. A man continues to fight for his life after being stabbed.

Hours later, police were called to Moss Side at 5am after two men were fatally stabbed. This afternoon, police responded to two further stabbings. READ MORE: Top cop issues full update after two men fatally stabbed in Manchester Officers rushed to Peter Street in Manchester city centre at 4pm, while there was another knifing in Unsworth, Bury, at 4.15pm.

Police have made arrests in relation to all incidents, except the stabbing in Unsworth. Officers were called to a 'disturbance' in Bury at 11.30pm last night.
