thefader.comA star-studded list of performers has been announced for the 2025 Oscars, airing this Sunday, March 2. Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Doja Cat, BLACKPINK's LISA, and Raye have all been confirmed to perform at the upcoming ceremony.
A while back the Academy revealed that they would be axing its tradition of having all the nominees of the Best Original Song category perform at the ceremony.
We took that to mean that there would be no more musical interludes to look forward to in the televised ceremony, but it turns out we were wrong.
Instead, the Academy will be swinging wildly in a different direction: of just inviting some of the biggest stars of the moment, whether they are involved in films or not, to come out on stage to sing...
