Following with six nominations is rapper GloRilla, who was named a BET Amplified Artist last October. The 23-year-old, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, also won Best Breakthrough Hip Hop Artist of the Year at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards where she gave an electrifying performance.
GloRilla’s BET nominations include Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Album of the Year for Anyways. Earning the third-highest number of nods are 21 Savage and Lizzo, whom each scored five nominations, followed by Beyoncé, Burna Boy, Chris Brown, Ice Spice, and SZA with four nominations each.
