While alone, an argument broke out between the sisters. Over what? Detective Zachary DiGiacomo told Fox 2 the fight “stemmed from a note that was placed in the bathroom” about “flushing the toilet.” There was a scuffle in the kitchen in which the 7-year-old knocked over a trash can — and the two siblings went their separate ways.
But the fight didn’t end there. Things escalated to a horrific level. Following the argument, police claimed, the older sibling waited until the 7-year-old went to the bathroom again — and stabbed her several times with a butcher knife.
