You're walking down a street - perhaps a street that you walked down many times - and you see something that completely stops you in your tracks.
Perhaps it's something you have never paid attention to before, or a completely unique sight that makes you do a double-take.
It's so easy to live our busy lives with our head's down, trying to reach to our destination as quickly as possible. Occasionally, it does us good to think like a tourist even in our own home towns; it's then we rediscover the true oddities we pass every day.
It could be a sign, a piece of street furniture or sculpture, or something that belongs to bygone age that familiarity has made us take for granted.
