Zoe Kravitz Recalls Casting Channing Tatum In 'Blink Twice,' Reveals Why She Chose Him

Zoe Kravitz is opening up about her casting choices for her directorial debut. The 36-year-old released her first movie she wrote and directed, Blink Twice, earlier this year, and it starred Channing Tatum in the leading male role, alongside Naomi Ackie.

In the newly released Variety Directors on Directors interview with her The Batman helmer Matt Reeves, Zoe revealed why chose Channing and Naomi for their roles. Keep reading to find out more… “Channing was the first person I thought of for Slater King, and I don’t know where that came from, similar to you,” she confessed. “I knew that the character needed to be somebody who we think we trust, especially because you don’t believe Naomi is getting on that plane if it’s someone who is immediately insidious.
