Zinedine Zidane has warned Manchester United that Raphael Varane is "untransferable" and will be staying at Real Madrid. Varane, 27, has recently re-emerged as a target for the Red Devils as boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer searches for a new centre-back partner for Harry Maguire.
The Frenchman has less than two years remaining on his deal with Los Blancos, while the asking price for the World Cup winner is believed to have dipped below £70million.
Varane has won eight major honours in nine seasons with Real, including four Champions League titles, and may be tempted by the opportunity of a fresh challenge.
But he continues to play an important role in Zidane's side, playing 90 minutes in all but one game this season, and the Real boss insists
