‘Zero Day’ Trailer: Robert De Niro Plays a Former President in Netflix’s Cyber Attack Thriller
variety.comJack Dunn Netflix has released the trailer for its new limited series “Zero Day,” which features an ensemble cast of Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lizzy Caplan, Connie Britton, Joan Allen, Matthew Modine and Angela Bassett.
The six-episode procedural thriller hits the streamer on Feb. 20. According to an official logline, “Zero Day” follows “Robert De Niro as respected former U.S.
President George Mullen, who, as head of the Zero Day Commission, is charged with finding the perpetrators of a devastating cyber attack that has caused chaos around the country and thousands of fatalities.
As disinformation runs rampant and the personal ambition of power brokers in technology, Wall Street, and government collide, Mullen’s unwavering search for the truth forces him to confront his own dark secrets while risking all he holds dear.” Additional cast members include Dan Stevens, Bill Camp, Gaby Hoffmann and Clark Gregg.
