Zendaya to play Shrek’s daughter in upcoming sequel

Zendaya has joined the cast of Shrek 5 and will play the titular ogre’s daughter.It was confirmed last July that a new film would arrive in 2026, just in time for the franchise’s 25th anniversary, and her appearance in the film was confirmed when a new first-look teaser for the film was released today (February 27).It depicts the Magic Mirror showing Shrek and Donkey who the “fairest of them all” is, which is apparently Shrek himself.
