Zayn Malik worries fans as he smokes, drinks beer and eats pizza at 6am

Zayn Malik left his fans concerned when he smoked and drunk beer at 6am on an Instagram Live. The former One Direction singer, 28, took to his account this week to connect with his followers at around 11am in the UK and 6am in New York, where it is thought he's currently living.

He was seen lighting up a rollie and sipping on a bottle of beer while eating pizza, but he later clarified he was smoking "just a cigarette".

In the video Zayn, who welcomed his first child with his girlfriend Gigi Hadid last year, played music from his new album Nobody Is Listening, which is predicted to chart at Number 10 this week.

His loyal fans rushed to Twitter to expressed their concern that he was smoking a joint, but he confirmed that it was a cigarette.
