YouTube star 'dead' after shooting and kidnap by fake police on speedboat

In the desperate hunt for kidnapped US Youtuber Elliot Eastman, police have arrested three individuals and fear he may be dead.The 26 year old was taken on a speedboat on the evening of October 17 by gunmen posing as police officers who shot him in the leg before abducting him.

Philippine National Police spokesperson Colonel Jean Fajardo stated, "Based on their statements, the three in custody were directly involved in the abduction of the American national." Three men are still on the run, according to police who claim they have been identified by the men currently in custody.They believe Elliot is with these men and suggested he may not be dead but could be alive.Two of those arrested were apprehended at separate locations and identified the third under questioning, who was later picked up in Sibuco, officials revealed.

All six suspects were charged with abduction on Tuesday, reports the Mirror. Helen Galvez told The Associated Press, "We believe he is alive so our operations are ongoing.

Our search won't stop until we locate him," she pledged. She confirmed that officers were conducting house to house searches in one area, but did not provide further details about the operation.
