Rutherglen’s MSP Clare Haughey is encouraging South Lanarkshire residents under the age of 22 to sign up for the Young Persons’ Free Bus Travel Scheme.Every young person aged up to 22 years old and resident in Scotland has been able to access free bus travel since the travel scheme was introduced by the Scottish Government in January last year.Most recent data show that there are 1.5 million people living in Scotland who benefit from a concessionary travel card.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
