The young man at the centre of a murder investigation in Old Trafford has been named as Salah Eldin Adam. The 21-year-old has been identified locally as the victim of the fatal 'targeted' incident on Kings Road last night (Wednesday).
Police were initially called to a 'disturbance' at a house at around 7.45pm. Mr Adam suffered serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.

An inquest into his death will open in due course. This afternoon (Thursday), a cordon remained in place around two houses as forensic officers scoured the scene for evidence.
