Joe Otterson TV Reporter Netflix has set the premiere date for the “You” Season 5, which will be the show’s final outing. “You” will return on April 24.

The official description for the final episodes states, “In the epic fifth and final season, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) returns to New York to enjoy his happily ever after… until his perfect life is threatened by the ghosts of his past and his own dark desires.” Netflix has also dropped the first teaser for the new season, which can be seen below.

In the teaser, Joe makes his way back to Mooney’s bookstore and reminisces about all that has led him to this point. “Here we are, together again, back to where it began,” Joe says. “And the one constant, the one thing that has always been there for me is you.” It was announced in March 2023 that “You” would be ending with its fifth season.

At that time, it was also revealed that series executive producers Michael Foley and Justin Lo would be taking over as showrunners for the final, with Sera Gamble remaining onboard as an executive producer.
