A yob bit three police officers after making threats and shouting racist and homophobic abuse at them. The assaults happened after Steven Fay was detained for breaching bail conditions by contacting his partner in East Kilbride.

They found Fay in the company of a woman despite bail conditions imposed a week earlier.Aga Mathieson, prosecuting, said Fay was arrested and became abusive, telling an officer he would "break your jaw and bite your nose off".He added: "I'll be released tomorrow and I'll come to your house at 3am.
