Paramount+ is changing the name of the planned Yellowstone spinoff show. Originally, the streamer announced that the should would be called 1932.
When it was originally announced earlier this year, the press release said the show would center on a brand new generation of Duttons “during the time of western expansion, Prohibition and the Great Depression.” Now, a change is being made to the show, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. 1923! The reason why the change was made? TV Line reports that the show will “encompass the end of World War 1 and the start of prohibition.” So, 1923 fits better in that timeline vs.
1932! Creator Taylor Sheridan also confirmed that 1923 would take over where 1883 left off, as the latter will not be back for a second season.
