Year of positive business performance in North Lanarkshire

North Lanarkshire is entering 2025 on "a strong footing" following a year of positive business performance in the local economy.

There was a £2.21 billion increase in turnover by businesses in the area during the year to March 31, with the number of registered firms increasing by 60 in 2023/24 to 8385.The number of people employed by businesses in the area also rose to 97,960.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
