Xbox Series X: Microsoft has bad news for anyone who hasn't managed to get the console yet

This month, gamers have been in for an absolute treat, with the launch of not just one, but two new consoles. The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 both went on sale in November, and unsurprisingly, sold out in record time.

Now, Tim Stuart, Xbox’s chief financial officer, has delivered some bad news for anyone who hasn’t been able to get their hands on an Xbox Series X yet.

Speaking at the Jefferies Interactive Entertainment conference, Mr Stuart revealed that console shortages could last until April 2021.
