Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Wyvern Lingo make Top 10 debut on the Official Irish Albums Chart with Awake You Lie

Wyvern Lingo claim the highest new entry on this week’s Official Irish Albums Chart with Awake You Lie. The County Wicklow trio’s second album debuts at Number 8, becoming their second Top 10 album.

Caoimhe Barry, Karen Cowley and Saoirse Duane’s self-titled debut album topped out at Number 3 in 2018. Reigning at Number 1 for a 24th non-consecutive week is Dermot Kennedy’s Without Fear.

24 weeks on top ties Without Fear with Ed Sheeran’s X for the third most weeks at Number 1 in the past 10 years. London rapper Digga D picks up his first Top 10 placing with his second mixtape Made in the Pyrex at Number 10; 93% of the collection’s total sales were powered by streaming.
