Wu Lyf are back and have dropped a new single as well as a number of live tour dates – check out the details below. The Manchester indie band confirmed they had reunited with a new update on their website, sharing a brand new single and revealing that they will be hitting the road across the UK and Europe later this year.It comes after the band got fans talking earlier this year, hinting that a reunion was coming.

According to Stereogum, one fan on Reddit claimed to have received a postcard from the group telling them to go to the worldunite.org website.

When they did so, they found a mysterious clock counting down to April 2.News of the return also comes after it was shared in February that Lost In Heaven – the group that frontman Ellery Roberts formed after Wu Lyf split in 2012 – were disbanding.

They announced their time as a band was coming to an end with the farewell single ‘Creation Song’.Now, a new six-minute single has appeared on Wu Lyf’s website, along with a new post on Instagram indicating that it is called ‘A New Life Is Coming’.The new track includes an ethereal blend of instrumentals from the opening note, and gradually builds into ‘00s-inspired indie epic, reminiscent of what first put the band on the map and earned them a huge cult following.“All the merry people,” Roberts sings in a smooth, sombre tone after the song builds up with the rich instrumental layering.
