The property in Missouri, US, was originally built in 1875 with two bedrooms and a stunning interior with wooden floors and marble finishes.
It's on sale with an asking price of about £265,000 - but it's a door leading off from the kitchen that has seen the bizarre listing go viral.
Next to the white cabinets and stone worktops is a heavy metal, grey door that looks very out of place with the rest of the home, leading to a series of prison cells with the capacity to hold nine people.
