A man covered head-to-tow in tattoos has been branded the “world’s most terrifying teacher” thanks to his extreme look. Sylvian Helaine, who has worked as a primary teacher for more than a decade in London and Northern France, has spent a whopping £52,000 on his inkings over the years.
He has spent an estimated 460 hours under the needle with every inch of his body is covered in designs, including his scalp, legs and even his tongue.
In fact, Sylvain once had to be held down while a tattoo artist injected ink into the top layer of his eyes - making them appear fully black, the Daily Star reports.
The educator flew to Switzerland for the dangerous procedure, which left him blind in the days afterwards. The eye tattoos – known as scleral ink – is extremely risky and has been known to cause people long term health issues.Speaking on This Morning in 2020, he said: "You've got one guy holding you down and the other coming with a syringe and putting it straight into your eyes."It's like torture.
