Work underway on new play park in Motherwell based on designs by young people

Work is underway on a new play park in North Motherwell based on designs by local young people. North Lanarkshire Council worked with young people who had asked for the former Loaning play area in Bute Avenue to be reinstated, as well as residents and a local nursery, to develop a new Ravenscraig themed design.

It includes a multi-towered activity centre with climbing areas, slides, a rope walkway, multi seesaw, play panels, spinners, rockers and swings.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
