Wonder Woman’s Lilly Aspell spent months stunt training for THAT opening sequence

One of the most talked about scenes in the comic blockbuster Wonder Woman 1984 was the opening sequence which saw a young Diana take on a race against her older Amazonians.

Young Diana is played by 13-year-old Lilly Aspell and the entire sequence is a series of daring stunts and high-octane action.

When chatting to EVOKE, Scottish-born Lilly revealed that she actually did the stunts herself and trained for a whopping six months before filming even began.

But, she took it all in her stride as she’s quite active in her day-to-day life. She told us: ‘I am very active in, I suppose, real life, so it wasn’t very hard for me on that front.
