Woman 'will never hug her son again because of teen's split-second decision'

A father, whose daughter was paralysed when a teen driving using his knees crashed into her car, has spoken out.Catherine Davies, a fitness instructor in her 40s was driving her Skoda when the incident happened.

She had a cardiac arrest and was given lifesaving care by an off-duty paramedic and officers until she was taken to hospital after the crash.

A mum of a nine-year-old son at the time of the crash, she has been left paralysed from the neck down and requires lifelong care, including ventilation for breathing.

Her father Jeremy spoke out during the sentencing of 19-year-old George Taylor, reports the Mirror.He told a court: “As a result of this accident, Catherine’s life has been utterly devastated.
