Woman who woke from Covid coma had to learn to walk and talk again

Erem Ali, 29, was 31 weeks pregnant when she admitted herself to Royal County hospital due to struggling to breathe - she was also unable to feel her baby moving, suspecting she had coronavirus.
Doctors quickly confirmed she had Covid-19 and after her condition worsened, she was put into an induced coma while her baby had to be born five weeks early. Erem has reported that she has no memory of the c-section and didn't meet the baby when she was born. She remained in the coma for three weeks but worke up on February 22 - she still had difficulty breathing, suffering from blood clots and bowel obstruction.
