Lisa Ashworth, a 52 year old career coach and author has shared her unique journey of spending £25k and a decade trying to conceive.

She finally gave birth to triplets at 41 and has now written a book about her experience. She started trying for children when she was 30 during her first marriage, but doctors discovered she had unexplained infertility.

This put a strain on her marriage which eventually ended in divorce. After meeting her second husband, Rob, Lisa underwent further medical tests, took fertility drugs, and tried alternative methods like changing her diet and acupuncture.

Despite all these efforts, she said conceiving naturally "wasn't meant to be".
