The woman who first raised the alarm over the behaviour of paedophile Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins says he had a 'target on his back' in prison.
Watkins was held hostage by three inmates at HMP Wakefield - known as 'monster mansion' - shortly after 9am on Saturday morning.
He is said to have suffered stab wounds and beatings before eventually being freed by prison officers around six hours later.
Reacting to the news, the singer's former girlfriend Joanne Mjadzelics said she was 'not surprised' he had been targeted inside the notorious jail.
