Woman 'wearing only underwear' sparks police probe after being spotted at side of Scots road

A woman who was spotted wearing only her underwear at the side of a Scots road has sparked a probe by cops.Police received reports of a woman standing at the side of A76 near to Holywood, Dumfries, at around 9pm on Saturday, November 6.

The woman was said to be wearing nothing but her underwear at the time.Police are concerned for the woman's wellbeing and have launched an appeal for information after the sighting.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "About 9pm tonight (06/11/21) Police in Dumfries received a report of a female standing at the side of the A76 near to Holywood wearing only underwear."The female is described as being aged about 20, petite and had blonde hair."Police are concerned for the females well being and are asking for
