Tracey Turner, from Audenshaw, was driving through the chicanes on Sandbrook Way in Denton when an oncoming car almost caused an accident.

The 54-year-old told the Manchester Evening News she had right of way and was already driving through a chicane when the impatient driver of a black car opposite decided race through and squeeze past her.

Still reeling from the near-miss, Tracey's commute then took a bizarre twist as she asked a taxi that was behind the black car to move so she could finish clearing the chicane.
