Madeleine Hilton, 46, says she discovered Ross in her garden on Kingsbridge Avenue, Hyde, on Thursday morning (June 24) visibly weakened and ‘wet through’ with a ‘white residue’.
She then cared for him before going to the vets the next day — where experts said nothing could be done for Maine Coon Cross cat, and he was put to sleep.
