A nursery worker accused of killing a baby girl having allegedly swaddled her and put her face down on a bean bag told a court she complained to management about the 'sheer volume' of children compared to staff.
Kate Roughley, 37, denies the manslaughter of nine-month-old Genevieve Meehan, after she was found unresponsive at Tiny Toes Nursery in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport.
Prosecutors allege deputy manager Ms Roughley swaddled the infant in a blanket and put her to sleep on her front onto the bean bag on May 9 2022, Manchester Crown Court previously heard.
She is then alleged to have fastened a strap across Genevieve's back before she later placed another cover over her.
