A teenager witnessed one of his co-defendants stab Kennie Carter, a murder trial has heard. Rashaun Williams, 18, claimed he saw Boy A, who can’t be named for legal reasons, knife the 16-year-old.
Mr Williams said he didn’t know Kennie and had no intention of causing him harm. Boy A has admitted stabbing Kennie but claims he was acting in self-defence.
Jabriel Ferguson, 19, of School Walk, Old Trafford; his younger brother Latif Ferguson, 18, of the same address; and Mr Williams, 18, from Staffordshire; have all been charged with murder and manslaughter.
Seven other boys - all under 18 - have been charged with the same offences.
