Woman Killed & Eaten By Neighbor's Pet Pigs On Christmas Day

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] This is downright terrifying… An Ohio woman lost her life during the holiday season — to two of her neighbor’s pet pigs, according to multiple local reports. Pataskala Police received a call from Rebecca Westergaard Rigney‘s family on December 25 when the 75-year-old failed to show up to their Christmas festivities.

They requested a welfare check, and when responding officers turned up to the elderly woman’s residence around 3 p.m. Christmas Day, they were shocked at what they found.

In a police report, it was revealed Rebecca was found deceased on her porch with “injuries to her legs”. It wasn’t until they found a large pig inside the victim’s home did they start to piece together what had happened.

Per multiple outlets, Pataskala law enforcement say the elderly woman was attacked and partially eaten by two pigs “roaming” around her property.
